INTRODUCTION

Welcome Duff’s Lawn Care Cairns! By using this website and/ or engaging in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by our Terms of Service Agreement. This Terms of Service Agreement governs all related website content, services and products provided by Duff’s Lawn Care Cairns. Duff’s Lawn Care Cairns reserves the right to change or revise the terms and/ or services in this Agreement. Any changes will be listed at the top of the Terms of Service Agreement, and all past Terms of Service will be listed and available in the archives on this website (www.duffslawncarecairns.com.au). The current Terms of Service supersedes the Terms of Service applicable at the time of engagement with our services. Duff’s Lawn Care Cairns encourages you to review our Terms of Service Agreement every time you engage us to provide a service or product in case it has changed since the last time we saw you. If you do not agree with any of our Terms of Service please contact us to terminate your engagement with us more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled service as fee’s may apply. 

What you can expect from us

- We provide a broad range of lawn care services and pressure cleaning services, including
- Pressure cleaning of walkways, pathways, stairs, driveways, external walls, patios, alfresco’s, windows
- Mowing
- Whipper snipping
- Edging
- Blow
- Leaf removal
- Debris (palm fronds, fallen branches, etc) removal
- General green waste removal
- Pulling weeds
- Weed Spray
- Garden bed clean up
- Trimming
- Pruning
- Hedging
- Cutting down small- medium tree’s
- Cutting down over hanging branches
- Fertilizing

Our services are designed to maintain and improve the health of your lawn and gardens, walkways, and outdoor living areas. For example, we offer maintenance schedules that work around you and your lifestyle to transform your outdoor living areas, lawn and gardens into an aesthetically pleasing area of your home.
 

We also use clean and sterile tools and equipment to protect you and your loved ones, particularly your pets from being exposed to previous clients’ environments. Our business is fully insured in the event there is an error and something untoward were to happen, for example a rock flicking up and cracking a window. Our team also hold current police checks and yellow cards so you can feel safe. The information you provide us with, such as your address and contact details, are safe with us and are not used outside of our scope of work or given to anyone outside of our team. 

What we expect from you

- Respectful and safe interactions with our team and equipment. Any abuse or harm will result in a cancellation of our service, and you will be invoiced for the quoted service whether or not the service was completed. Any future scheduled services will also be terminated. If you damage any of our equipment you will be billed for the replacement of the damaged equipment. 

- More than 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your scheduled service. If we are given less than 24 hours’ notice, we will still charge you 50% of your quoted service plus a cancellation fee of $35. This affects our income and less than 24 hours’ notice limits our availability to advertise and fill that time slot that was blocked off and allocated to you. 

- No notice of cancellation will result in you being charged the full price plus a cancellation fee ($35) of the quoted service. In the event we arrive at your property, and we don’t have access to your lawn (e.g. gates haven’t been unlocked, aggressive animals have not been secured, vehicles prohibiting access to a lawn etc.) you will be invoiced for the full price. You do, however, reserve the right to reschedule within 24 hours for the scheduled service without additional charge within that same week of the scheduled service. 

- Any animal faeces (e.g. dog poo) on the lawn to be picked up. When we mow over, or accidentally clip with the whipper snipper, your animals waste products, it goes all over the mower blades, in some cases our clothing, boots, and on other parts of our equipment. Your animals’ faeces can end up in our trailer and our vehicle. The cost of sterilizing our vehicle and our equipment to keep our other clients and our family safe from the possible bacteria and/or viruses your animal may have is expensive. Failure to clean up after your animals before your scheduled service will result in an “Excessive animal faeces” fee of $50. This is to cover the cleaning products we must purchase to clean our equipment and our vehicle. We will provide a reminder the day before your service and photos attached to your invoice in the event it hasn’t been cleaned up. 

In case of problems or disagreements 

In the event you’re not happy with the quality of your service please contact us. We will be more than happy to reattend your property to rectify the problem without any additional cost to you. We value our customers and take pride in our work, we are, however, human and sometimes errors happen which we are more than to take accountability for.
